HypnoBirthing® Services
HypnoBirthing® - is as much a philosophy as it is a technique. The concept of HypnoBirthing® is not new, but rather a "rebirth" of the philosophy of birthing as it existed thousands of years ago and as it was recaptured in the work of Dr. Grantly Dick-Read, an English obstetrician, who first forwarded the concept of natural birthing in the 1920s.
Childbirth Classes
It is our hope that in addition to gaining the knowledge necessary for birth in this technological world, women and their partners will become empowered to trust the ancient process of birth and rely on their primal instincts to guide the mind, body, and soul through the amazing journey of pregnancy and birth. Birth is truly a rite of passage.
Doula Services
"Doula", pronounced (doo lah), comes from the Greek word meaning woman's helper. The word now refers to women experienced in childbirth, who provide physical, emotional, and informational support to help women/couples make informed choices in labor and birth. This service is comforting for the laboring woman as well as her partner, who may be unsure of how best to assist her.
